Brushing my 2 teeth

It is very important to start brushing your teeth as soon as they show up! That is what Mamma says, and she is probably right:=) I love brushing my teeth, but I prefer doing it myself....

Out on the balcony

This weekend I was actually sitting in my high chair out on the balcony for the first time! I liked watching the birds and listen to all the neighbours coming and going. I think this summer will be really nice, and I am looking forward to sitting out there in the sun!

City tour

Today we have been out for a looong walk, and I have been really patient:=) We took the bus up to Frognerparken, went for a walk there, while I was sleeping in my stroller. Then we went to a very nice café called Brød og Tulipaner (Bread and Tulips) at Frogner. I got to taste some croissant!! That was yummy!! The trip went furter down to Aker brygge and we had a look at all the nice boats. I think my parents have a special feeling concerning those sailboats...I hope I get to try some sailing one day!! The day ended with some delicious "grøt" before I had to go to bed... Didn't really feel ready for that, but finally I went to sleep..zzzzzzz

Today I woke up at 5 again...Both Mamma and Daddy have been home the whole day. We have played a lot and went for a little walk around the neighbour hood.

See! I can clap my hands. And I do it all the time! Even when Daddy puts on my pyjamas.

TOYS

Even though I do think wires, fire wood, power outlets and other so called "dangerous" stuff, are way more interesting than my real toys, I figure I do have some cool nice toys to play with.... I think my parents are getting a bit tired of watching me all day long, since I have started to move around much more lately, and I have a tendency to touch all this "dangerous" stuff, that I actually think should be part of my playground. But today I did accept playing for a while with the plastic colourfull "fun stuff" after mamma collected it all in a pile for me to make it more attractive.

Playing the piano

This is my 2nd favorite! I love playing the piano, and I would really like to play much more. But for some reason my parents only let me play a few times a day. They say something about the neighbours, looking at each other, a bit worried, but smiling and then they usually let me play a bit more:=) P.S the clapping is also an important part of this game to keep me going. I also start singing my special song at times. Then everyone starts to laugh...

My first sled

For X-mas I got a cool bright green sled from Mormor and Bestefar. This picture is taken out in our back yard, the first time I tried it out. I have used it several times since, and I really like it. Especially when my mamma and daddy pull me down the little hill! Then I laugh and laugh, almost so hard, I make the sled tilt over.

Qatar

QATAR

In November we went to Qatar with my Bestefar Bjørn and Mormor Vigids, tante Gro, onkel Per Atle and my cousins; Benjamin, Emilie and Hannah. This is were my Mamma spent her first 4 years, as my bestefar and mormor were working in Umm Said, Qatar at the time. It was nice for everyone to see where they used to live, the school my grandparents worked at, the Kindergarden my mamma and tante went too, and all the camels, the desert and mosques, among other exciting stuff. It was pretty warm, and I had my first bath in an outdoor pool. That felt very good.

Reading

I love my new book that I got from Roxanne the other day. It has lots of funny numbers in it and several animals and other cool toys and stuff I really don't know what is yet.. As long as I have a book to look at, I am very satisfied!

Learing to crawl

This is how my parents are helping me to learn crawling. They put out cheerios on the floor, and as I love them so much, I will work really hard to get my hand on them. The hard work is really worth though:=)

At Mamma's job

One day I got to visit Mamma at her job. I even got to sit at her desk, in my own dangling chair. It felt so good to have my feet dangeling in the air:=) I also helped Mamma with some paper work. It is fun that she also gets to crunch the paper sheets, making paper balls. It really looks cool when she types those buttons on the key board, but she doesn't like me doing that yet.... Hopefully one day I can do it with permision! So far I have only done it when she wasn't looking:=) hihi

Feeding Daddy

Daddy and I are having a new game. It is called "One for you - two for me" and I am the lucky one, always getting two! I love my Cheerios. It was my Grandma Janet who gave those to me for the first time, this last X-mas, and I have eaten thousands of them since then.

Sunny

Finally the Sun is shining and I have had my first Lunch outdoor. Daddy is also smiling together with the sun beam! Daddy and I are at home together now, as Daddy has his paternity leave. We are really having lots of fun and Daddy is teaching me some more English every day!

My favorite instrument

This colourful Xylophone is definately my favorite toy these days. I can play for minutes, and I especially like it when I have an audience that clap their hands. That gives some extra energy to keep on going for a little longer. When I really wanna show off, I prefer having my cap on.

Snørrunge

As this picture shows, I am not in tip top shape today. Both Daddy and I have bronchitus and I also have an ear infection...:( But I am still smiling and being very active!

First time in a "pulk"

A couple of weekends ago, we went up to the cabin in Valdres for the time with Edward. There was a lot of snow and the weather was very nice. That made it possible for us to take Edward out for his first ride in a "pulk" which is a kind sledge for babies/kids when we Norwegian go out skiing.
